I build AI systems, mostly harnesses and agent memory. I’m Jordi Catafal, an AI engineer, and a founder for the last couple of years, which means the job description moves around a lot.

At Skillia last year I had the technical and product side, plus some go to market, because someone has to. Five agents in production, and more than 300 users on them through PIMEC, which paid for it and offered it to its members. I built the eval systems behind them: an LLM-as-judge suite over 130+ scenarios, and a gold-set memory benchmark in three languages.

Before that, 14 client projects as a freelance consultant, mostly law firms and accountants, audit through handover.

The notebook is the unpaid half. Random experiments I run because I want to know the answer, published either way. In August I retracted one of my own benchmarks, after finding I had published numbers without a reproducible run.
